Terms & Conditions of Service


This site is a platform for cleaners and client to connect and these terms and conditions apply to any service connection made. We may add to or alter these terms and conditions from time to time and any alterations or additions will apply new contacts thereafter but not to existing contacts.  

THE CLEANER IS INTRODUCED TO THE CLIENT AS A SELF EMPLOYED CLEANER and the Client shall retain the Cleaner as such. The Client shall agree with the Cleaner directly the terms of any contract and will be responsible for arranging cleaning times, giving instructions and making correct and timely payments at the agreed hourly rate directly to the Cleaner.

   The Client will supply all the necessary cleaning and ironing materials which must include a working vacuum cleaner and a fully operational steam iron and ironing board, if ironing is required. 

The Client will give all instructions as to hours to be worked and duties to be performed direct to the Cleaner and shall be responsible for employing-and terminating the employment of the cleaner.
All cleaning equipment should be safe and in full working order. The Client must allow the cleaner access to hot water and power. All fragile and breakable items must be secured or removed. 

The Client acknowledges and confirms that each Cleaner is not employed by House Soclean and that, save as otherwise provided herein, House Soclean shall not be liable for any act, default or omission of the Cleaner.


The Client acknowledges and agrees that House Soclean does not have access to police or criminal records when vetting Cleaners and cannot be liable for false or misleading information provided by Cleaners in relation to such matter.

As a legal requirement and for the benefit and safety of the client, all cleaners shall provide an Id or passport, proof of right to work in the UK, NI, proof of address and 2 references before being registered. Client, as the employer of the cleaner shall check to confirm these requirements before being offered any job.

In the event of a complaint the client will request the cleaner back to the client’s property to complete the work to the client’s satisfaction. If the cleaner shall refuse, client shall inform House Soclean so that may keep a record of it for the purpose of cleaner future reviews. House Soclean will not normally refund any payment
